Dr. Goebel earned his PhD in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Minnesota, where he focused on the total synthesis of the natural product Englerin A. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Occhem Labs, LLC in 2014. The name "Occhem Labs" is inspired by Occam's Razor—the principle that the simplest solution is often the best—aligning perfectly with our focus on organic chemistry.
